Spider Lake

   Spider Lake is a 272 acre lake in the middle of the Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes. Spider Lake is located right off of Highway 51 in Manitowish Waters. The lake has good clarity (11.5 ft) and an average depth of 20 feet. There are about 21 owners per mile of shoreline and about two acres of water per owner. The lake does see a fair amount of boat traffic during the summer months. Spider Lake is a clear, relatively deep lake on the Manitowish Waters Chain, tucked just outside the core of town activity. Its irregular shoreline, multiple bays, and wooded surroundings give it a slightly more intimate feel than some of the chain's larger open lakes while still offering plenty of room for boating and fishing.
