Tomahawk Lake

   The "King of Lakes" is an enormous lake with very deep, clear water. The lake stretches from Minocqua to Lake Tomahawk (the town) and has over 30 miles of shoreline to explore. The fishing is good and the deep clear waters and expansive amount of space are great for boating. Lake Tomahawk is also part of the Minocqua Chain of Lakes and there are drive up dining options available in town. There is a lot of state owned land around the lake and the topography is beautiful on the south and west sides. There are more quiet spots on the lake than on the other lakes on the Minocqua Chain. Tomahawk Lake is 3,462 acres and has an average depth of 33 feet. The clarity in 20 feet and there are about 8 acres of water per owner on the lake. The lake is also close to Minocqua putting you close to the action if that is your type of thing.
