Little Crawling Stone

Aerial view of Little Crawling Stone, a 113 acre lake in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin
Bearskin Lake is a really pretty lake to see near Minocqua. There are rolling hills around the lake and the uniquely shaped shoreline really sets them off, creating long sightlines and interesting coves that give the lake plenty of character. The lake is a nice size—comfortable but not tiny, smaller than the big chains—so it strikes a balance between room to roam and a quieter, more intimate feel. Close enough to Minocqua for easy trips into town, it maintains a calmer feel than the busiest resort waters with relatively low-key boat traffic. The combination of varied shoreline, wooded backdrop, and scenic setting makes it appealing to buyers who want scenery and access without full-on chain activity.
