Katinka Lake

   Katinka Lake is a quiet deep lake (26 ft average depth) with very clear water (19 ft clarity) and not many homes (14 owners per mile of shoreline). With the absence of a public boat launch on the lake, it stays really quiet. It's a scenic lake and the surrounding area is quite pretty and peaceful too. The lake is about a twenty minute drive from Manitowish Waters. Since the lake is under 200 acres and in the town of Presque Isle, no jet skis are allowed, but if you are looking for that type of recreation, Presque Isle lake is right across the street.
