Fisher Lake

   Fisher Lake is a big but shallow lake about 20 minutes from Mercer. The lake has excellent clarity, one of the better readings in the Mercer area. Fisher Lake is a well-known Mercer-area lake with a mix of cabins, resorts, and wooded shoreline, offering a classic "fish camp" atmosphere. Its irregular shape, islands, and bays create a variety of scenic views and sheltered spots for boating and paddling. It has an irregular shoreline with islands and bays, along with lakeside resorts that cater to anglers and vacationers. It is large enough to support active summer use while still feeling like a traditional Northwoods fishing lake rather than a huge reservoir.
